amazing success from a legend, i saw him in concert in 2005, and he was amazing.

I called several times trying to get through to the person that could tell me what I wanted to know. I was finally forwarded to someone that should have been able to tell me.

He said that they do forward fan mail to the players, but that their office has nothing to do with any acts appearing at their park. He said that they don't interact with those productions at all, that they have nothing to do with them.

So they wouldn't be giving them any mail at any time. This jerk obviously did not know what he was talking about. And as a result may have cost me the biggest success of my lifetime!

Awesome! I am one of the people (or the only person?) who got his auto when he played at Citi Field in July.

For what it's worth, I NEVER call/email a place to ask if they pass on fan mail. I just send something I don't mind losing and take a chance with it. For all we know, the person who's telling you they don't pass on mail might not even be the person who actually RECEIVES the mail at the venue. Plus, I feel like if they actually receive the mail, they'll feel more of a responsibility to pass it on.

I have gotten lots of successes from "unverified" places, including Paul Simon, James Taylor, Brian Wilson, Huey Lewis, B. B. King, Willie Nelson, and now Macca! (Lots of FAILs also, but it's worth the work, obviously.)
