I thought I'd never get this back! I sent James a SASE, letter and 2 photos to the set of "Milk" on January 23, 2008 and today, I got both photos back signed! At the time, postage was 41 cents. I'm surprised it went through (it's only a penny, after all ). Too bad he signed it on the dark parts of the photos. Does anyone know if they're authentic?

I received one also, and I believe they're fake. I met him in 2007, and my autograph from then looks quite different. Also, the postage date one mine was 3/26/09, from CA and he is currently filming Howl in NYC.
I'll post mine a bit later.

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, those are secretarial. Since it came from his agency, James/Levy Management, who recently started sending out secretarial autographs, this is one of them. Authentic examples of his autographs don't match up to yours, here's some in person examples from AutographWorld.com:

This is exactly what happened to me! Today I got my pictures signed, by the same person as yours. I was convinced they're secretarials as soon as I saw them because this autograph (whoever did it) is nothing like James' . I sent it to the set of "Milk", too, with less postage than needed, too and I got it also from California - from his agency. I'm not even going to bother myself with posting this failure because it's one of my biggest disappointments - I want real James' autograph so badly! You chose beautiful photos, by the way, it's such a pity the're not genuine . Well, we might have luck another time {thumb2} .

It's a shame he didn't even sign VV. Just like the previous success from his agent, it is a fake. I want James' auto as well.

I wonder if I'll get mine back. I just sent a few note cards on 1/19/08. At the time I was disappointed that I wasn't sending a photo. Now I'm glad I didn't waste my time if it's just going to be secretarial.

I hope he will sign authentically from there as I really want his autograph he's a brilliant actor :razz: also, others have sent a request there as well perhaps you can try that address?
