Sending Letter from US to UK

Unread post by FanMailLuke »

Hi Everyone,

I am very new to the fanmail biz. I was wanting to send a UK actor (David Tennant) fanmail. I am making a SASE, that way hopefully the pictures I include could be signed by him. As I am from the US, sending mail to UK I am wondering the cheapest way to send it to the UK. The envelope weighs roughly two ounces. As the Global Forever® Stamps are up to one ounce, would it be possible to add two Global Forever® Stamps to make up the extra ounce?

Thank you.

Yes.

A 2 ounce letter to the UK costs $2.13.

Two Global Forever Stamps would total $2.30 value.

Thank you very much for the reply.

How about sending from UK to US?
I just went to the post office to see what I could do about sending it from there to here, but they told me they didn't offer anything so I will have to find it on my own.
Just looked at the Royal Mail website, seems to me that the don't ship stamps to the US. The Drop & Ship on the Royal Mail website only works for next business day so that won't work either. I'm running out of ideas.

eBay or Amazon have sellers who offer new, unused UK stamps.

I recommend 1st or 2nd class stamps as they work just like US Forever Stamps.

www.royal-mail.com has all the information on prices, calculators etc for you to work out how many you need.
