Ugh that story sux. I have neurotically had nightmares a few times where I had met a player but hadn't had anything to get signed or a pen to do so with. Since then I've always carried an 'emergency box' of cards in my trunk of local talent who live around town. <sigh> neurotic.

I got former AFL Houston Oiler Bill Groman on two cards today. Great find!

Here's one from the "never give up on a request" pile. I was surprised when I went to my mailbox the other day to find, what I knew, was an old SASE that I'd sent out. I open it up, and it's former Redskin, Ram and Chief TRENT GREEN! I'd sent to his home address in KS, seemed like forever ago. Upon checking my records, it had been over a year and a half! Great sig on my custom 4X6 and well worth the wait.

Been too busy to sent out any new requests recently, but hope to change that very soon. With the start of free agency, I don't want to be too active until the market settles.

Guess I need to change my profile name now that Wes has left. This is why I hate free agency. Hopefully Amendola can fill in, he will be a target of mine in training camp for an auto for sure

I have gotten Keenum through the Texans and Cushing and Hawk through private addresses. I've seen successes from Laurinaitis, Collins, Ford, Celek. Gore used to sign, but I don't think he does anymore.

I've gotton successes fom keenum and broyles, both who are very reliable signers. I sent to laurinitis and hawk a long time ago and have not received anything.

I have a 2012 topps Afc East New England Patriots card and I heard that Bill Bellicheck is a pretty good signer and was wondering if he would sign that. And if he would is this to early to send to him through the team address when would be the best time to send to him. Thanks for any help.

I sent to him via the Patriots address on 1/5/13 and still haven't received anything back yet.

Alright I have a couple questions.

1 Is it to early to send some things to the free agents that just signed with a team.

2 Does any one have a private address that people have seen success from for Rob Gronkowski or Aaron Hernandez. If so could you please pm me.
