CubsFanKEC1982: you are incorrect. Hogan has used a Hulkster signature since WCW. And I am talking about in person, not TTM. That's even how he was signing a lot of items at the Lockdown fanfest last year -- including mine. I have about 5 examples of this variation in my collection

I've never seen a in-person "Hulkster" signature from Hogan. Never. The WCW TTMs were all fakes - even the ones that were full-on Hulk Hogan. They were horrendous fakes. I don't think Brooke had gotten good at forging his signature back then.

As for your "Hulkster" claim, I would love to see proof and I'm not talking about a scan of it. Anybody can produce one of those and claimed Hogan signed it.

I am referring to an actual picture of Hulk Hogan in the act of signing "Hulkster."

I've looked at all 32 in-persons that are accessible to me along with the Hulk Hogans I obtained in person and only one was even sloppy enough to be considered to say "Hulkster".

In reality, it was a partial opening "H" on Hulk, followed by another "H" and the Hogan and that running together did give the mistaken look of "Hulkster" on that piece.

That is what I suspect happened on your items as Hogan's been known to run his sig together or just to initial items at signings.

dude go look on ebay, there's a ton of psa and steiner certified ones.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Hulk-Hogan-signed-f ... 4aa80f82b8

don't tell me that doesn't say hulkster.

Again, PSA, COA doesn't mean a thing. See no proof other than an eBay listing from the seller and its description that links that piece to Steiner.

Even the COA tag could be reproduced and faked.

If he's signed "Hulkster" as a regular occurrence, it is news to me.

And if someone ultimately proves me wrong, fine.

It won't be the first time, nor will it be the last.

But don't latch onto an eBay listing when we know that place is full of fakes.

Thanks for your input. I assure you I'm not trying to "pull a fast one" on anybody. I will tell you that after doing some research on my own after reading your post, I am still convinced that the signatures are legitimate. I looked up IP examples on many of these guys and I think they are a good match for the most part, especially considering these items (folding chairs) were likely held up in the air while the wrestlers signed them. I would like to point out this was in the 1999 time-frame and these guys, especially ones with numerous character changes, wouldn't necessarily be signing exactly the same now as they did 12 years ago. I am also a believer that the COA is meaningless, so I can assure you I don't believe this simply because I have a piece of paper. But again, I do thank you for your input and welcome any other comments anyone may have.

regarding this topic. as i have stated on the forum before, I am close friends with Monty Sopp (Billy Gunn). I showed him the picture and asked him if he thought that was his signature and he told me that there is no way that is his writing! So my guess is that there may be one or two real signatures on there and the rest are fake. But as far as i know and was told by Billy himself, that is not his signature so most likely most of the other signatures are not real as well.

Thanks. That is actually helpful. It is hard to admit when you've been taken, but I'm coming around. I appreciate all of the input from everybody. One thing that bugs me about it though is why didn't they go ahead and forge Stone Cold, who was arguably the biggest WWF star at the time. Seems like they would have gone ahead and put him on there too.
I'm sorry, but I do not pass around my via venue addresses. I post the successes to show that there is an address available out there that works. Please do not request via venue addresses from me. Thank you!

I am always open to discussion on the authenticity of my successes.

What?
Definitely not true!
Hogan has been signing IP autographs as “Hulkster” for years on pictures, books, shirts, belts and other stuff!
