Will our autographs fade regardless if we protect them in nice protective sheets many years from now? 20 to 30 years from now. Will they become ruined because of age?

I think if you keep them in direct sunlight or too much sunlight it's possible for them to fade faster. Probably best to keep them protected.

I don't think they will. I've gone through some old items that my parents have such as old handwritten documents and antique papers from the early 1900's and they are still in very good condition. {up} I've even come across papers that had been left outside for months with handwriting on them and they held up to the elements pretty good too. So being inside they should last for along time. {up}

Always. No matter how well you keep them, sometimes ink will fade overtime and the paper quality will go thinner. That's why you always put them away from sunlight. I was recommended not to frame them because it does cause minor damage (advice from a nyc dealer) - not just autographs but also animation cels.

I have autographs from the 30's that are still in great condition. Just keep them well protected, and any fading will be minimal.

I have a few from the 1800's that still look great. Keeping them out of the sunlight is the biggest thing.

Keep them out of any direct lighting and from moisture (like basements). If you want to display...put them behind something thats UV protected.

Paper will dry out and become more brittle over time...just handle with care.
