He doesnt have one does he??
He IS in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Johnny Depp thought he was excellant too.
He will be playing the character 'Charlie'.
Found on net : Johnny Depp was so impressed with Freddie Highmore's performance in Finding Neverland (2004) that he convinced Tim Burton to cast him as Charlie Bucket.

Where is Leigh gone?!
I thought he was brilliant in "Finding Neverland" and I'm really looking forward to "Charlie and The Chocolate Factory". I saw him at the Empire awards in London the other week and he got swomped by autograph dealers. His mum and dad were there and they looked a bit unhappy about the whole thing, infact he got pulled away by a PR lady after about 5 minutes. This might explain why there's no address at present, a better chance for those who can might be the UK premiere of " Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" which is on Sunday 17 July in Leicester Square. Even if you don't get Freddie's you'll probably get Johnny Depp's to some good might come of it.
I know what you mean it's great to write to people you like and even better when they sign a picture for you or if your really lucky reply with a letter. I can understand people who deal in autographs of stars who are no longer alive but to see the way that some dealers and their runners chase people through airports and hound them in hotels is awful, I should say I've only seen this on tv I don't do this myself. They never want just one thing signed it's always 4 or 5 and you can see the look on the persons face there asking no wonder when we go up to them, when and if we seem them, and ask them to sign a book or a card you get such a bad reaction, I tell you you just can't win sonetimes.
I was thinking about this and your right, the stars should spend more time interacting with the fans that go to the premieres and wait hours to see them or those that take the trouble like we do to write to them. The dealers aren't going to bother writing letters they'll probably only get one autograph if they're lucky which is never enough for them.
