I have only started to post comments in this forum a short time ago, but the thing I have already noticed is that quite a lot of people do have a pretty rude tone here. I mean, everyone can have a bad day and can adopt the wrong tone, but hey, this should be a forum in which one should post comments that are helpful for other collectors. It's not a very helpful and enjoyable thing to see that members are be run down. This is just MHO, so no hard feelings.

You're right, it does grate on you when people act up themselves and rudely, but believe me some of the stuff going on is designed to rile. Like the two prominent posters in recent weeks, one being a fool, the other being an apparent voice of reason. Strangely both the same person. Classic stuff.

Hopefully you can sift the good from the bad

Agreed, there is no reason to behave rudely...people should just keep negativity to themselves and only voice an opinion, suggestion or compliment or whatever else, though it should be said in a positive way.

I think I can. However, it's a general problem with almost every forum that it has become a nasty habit to run people down (it's (almost) like mobbing). I am an active poster in a few forums (this is the only autograph forum, though), and I've noticed that the tone is getting ruder and ruder everywhere which really is a development that shouldn't be tolerated any longer. But I know that one can't do much about this problem other than to ban members which usually doesn't happen. Anyway, I hope to read less rude posts here, even though I know that this is just wishulf thinking of mine...

Wishful thinking it may be sadly, as there are too many who bite your head off, or deliberately do things to annoy. I'll never be rude, unless someone REALLY riles me, but there is nothing worse than people having a go at you when you politely point out the reality. They can live in a fantasy world if they wish, but we cannot allow others to think items are real and thus waste money/time etc in sending to the address.

This is what your not seeming to understand. I don't care for your opinion if it's negative. I also don't care if you don't think it's "real". I'm glad to have it,and I love collecting. Nothing you will say to me will change any of my thoughts about anything. So, hope you can move on with your life successfully. Cheers...oh and please do block me..do me and others a favor

You're totally missing the point. If you choose to believe it's real that's your call. There's no need to go on the attack at other people when they point the truth out on a public forum. The point is that no serious collector will allow OTHER inexperienced collectors who see your post think they can send to Eastwood and get a genuine response. That's our right, and indeed would be the actions of any sane person. Anyways, as I said, blocked from this point on, so I'll let you live in your happy clappy world if it keeps you happy.
