Re: Great Responses
I'm a huge Saturday Night Live fan so I wrote to the announcer Don Pardo who has been SNL's announcer since it began and is still going at 90. He inscribed my index card with "Amy- It would be my extreme pleasure to utter 'Live from New York, it's Saturday Night Live starring Amy _____', Don Pardo"
so that's probably my favourite

Re: Great Responses
Martin Sheen without a doubt!
I wrote him a really personal letter about my work with MS sufferers and praised his acting in The West Wing where he played an MS sufferer.
He sent me a signed & personalised West Wing photo, signed & returned my dollars I sent for postage and also sent back my letter, on which he wrote "AnneMarie, Many thanks for your lovely letter, peace be with you, Martin Sheen" It meant so much that he wrote the note on my letter as it proves he actually read it! To top it all, he even wrote the return address on my sase!
I am a HUGE fan of his so this meant the world to me {love}
I will post some scans tomorrow. It's 11:30pm here so I'm not messing around with my scanner right now

I have gotten a few letters/notes back. I really liked Michaela McManus's, though. Not only did she send me a note but she designed the SASE flap with stickers!

Re: Great Responses
I've gotten a letter or two back...but I kind of got into the habbit of sending "serious" Questionairres. Not like "what's your favourite color" but like "what was your favourite scene to film?" yadayada.
And Broadway Star Carolee Carmello sent me an umbrella!

I sent off for Don LaFontaine. About four days later(QUICK) he sent me a personalized photo, and a copy of what he says for a commercial pimping the new movie, Get Smart. He also sent me a personal email, thanking me for my email, and telling me he was sending me the photo. Very nice guy.

Re: Great Responses
No...well I said "I'd really love for you to sign something for me, but I doubt you'd have anything from The Scarlet Pimpernel or Jekyll & HYDE, so I'd love to request a headshot if I could" or something like that. (She only RECORDED Jekyll & HYDE, she never performed in the stage show) When she sent it back (oddly shaped box, proirity mail (and like $5+ shipping!) she said that she had been cleaning out her attic and said she thought I'd enjoy it. I did!mcgonagall wrote:THAT'S RATHER INTERESTING - DID YOU ASK FOR ONE?
