I was just trying to help you. The fact of the matter is in the picture you posted, the only stamp that matters is that brown Royal Mail one which is from the UK. The Canadian ones mean nothing because the UK can only send mail from the UK with UK stamps. It's your money and your stamps you're wasting, but if you're not willing to listen then that's your issue.

I'm not wasting money the only ones that ever have extra stamps/money added is only from the UK and I don't send there much the ones I send to the US come back fine nothing added to them... But thanks anyway lol wasn't expecting to be arguing with ppl over stamps :razz:

As my brother in law is a post master...I can concur with the statements above. I usually when I send to a different country....which Canada is since I am in the USA I would most likely send either cash money in euro or their own currency to cover the return postage. Although the America Dollar was sent to Bridget Bardot in Paris and she put the French stamps on. I think everyone here is just trying to help out so you dont miss getting replies back because the postage is wrong.

She clearly didn't know that it was going to be sent from the UK.

She clearly did because she sent TO the uk. Kate's address is in the UK. How can you not know the reply would be from the UK if you clearly sent there? It's not going to come from Australia if you sent it to the UK is it?! Most ridiculous statement I've ever read.

I still don't see why the postal employee would put stamps on a SASE that was being sent from England (bit obvious since this user clearly sent to England) because if you work in the mail industry, surely you are aware that different countries use different stamps? When I send to America, my postal employee doesn't even touch the SASE - why should she? It's always sealed inside the main envelope, with American stamps or US$ on! I'm in the UK so she wouldn't put UK stamps on the envelope from America, because she knows it wouldn't get back.

Because if you walked into the post office and said you were making a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope and told them to put the right amount of stamps on, the postal employee would automatically assume that since you are asking for stamps to be put on at a Canadian post office that its coming back to Canada. I doubt they even thought to look at the original package and saw that it was going to the UK.

No! Polish stamps will not work in Canada. Only Canadian stamps will work in Canada.
